The lunch break is often seen as sacred by office workers; a break to unwind, recharge and regroup for the remainder of the working day.
However, one worker has had their lunchtime routine shattered by his boss and took to Reddit to vent.
A Reddit user called Steaknbud took to the online message board to reveal that their boss had banned them from reading books during their break – the Express reveals.
“I've been reading books during my lunch breaks at work and today they decided to ban ‘reading material’ as it ‘takes me too long to eat’,” they wrote.
