The Co-operative Bank appoints HR Director

The Co-operative Bank has appointed a new HR Director.

Helen Gallagher will join in early 2017 and will also be a member of the Executive Committee.

Her current position is Retail HR Director at Lloyds Banking Group, and she has also held senior HR positions at Santander and Barclays.

Niall Booker, Chief Executive Officer of The Co-operative Bank comments on the appointment: “We welcome Helen as our new HR Director. Her deep knowledge of retail banking will prove extremely valuable as we continue to progress the turnaround of the Bank with the help of our talented colleagues. Helen will take on the excellent work that Julie Harding has delivered over the past three years.
