This hedge fund company makes employees study each other's meetings

Employees at the world's largest hedge fund company spend at least an hour a week analysing recordings of company meetings and answering questions about their observations.

Bridgewater Associates, which was founded by Ray Dalio in 1975, started using the recorded meetings as "management principles training" lessons (MPTs) ten years ago, Business Insider reports.

The American investment management firm has a work culture of ‘radical truth and transparency’, which is embedded in Dalio's 2010 guide ‘Principles’, which all employees must read.

He uses the training method to ensure his unique management insights are instilled in his 1,700 employees.
