Sarah Hamlin, Norfolk Constabulary’s Assistant Chief Constable and the policewoman responsible for protecting the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, has stepped down from her role as her values no longer fit with the organisation.
She announced the news in a series of tweets which can be seen below.
After 30 years @NorfolkPolice I've resigned to the fact that my values no longer fit the org. I can't make a difference, support frontline.
