We’re all guilty of saying thing we don’t mean sometimes - but if it happens in the workplace it can be grounds for a disciplinary.

Christmas Connections has compiled a list of the most outrageous things managers have said to their employees, scouring the offices of the UK to find the definitive list of inappropriate remarks.

The idea came off the back of the release of the new Ricky Gervais movie, David Brent: Life on the Road.

Remarks include the likes of “Don’t ever turn up to work without makeup on again”, “Not everyone is talented. At least you look pretty!” and “Your success or failure has no impact on me!”.
