Navigating the ‘Brexit challenge’ whilst maintaining a focus on employee wellbeing is a challenge for UK businesses.
David Woodward, Chief Product and Marketing Officer at SD Worx, highlights the need for HR to maintain employee welfare during a period of uncertainty and change.
“With the Brexit vote currently dominating the thoughts and actions of UK businesses, it is important for organisations to remain focussed on staff wellbeing and ensure that their issues are not shelved by companies simply because of the need to focus on the changing trading environment," he said.
“According to the latest study by the Equal Pay Portal, the gender pay gap stood at 17.2% last year. Latest figures suggest that the highest paid men in top roles earned 54.9% more than their female colleagues.
