5 ways to keep job adverts gender-neutral

The twin issues of diversity and inclusion are ones which most recruiters and hiring managers should understand intricately. However, when it comes to job adverts some employers may be instantly alienating one gender before they've even had a chance to meet a single candidate. It all comes down to the job advert.   

In an interview with Gadgette, digital consultancy Red Badger gave their five top tips on how employers and recruiters can keep their job listings gender-neutral. 

Don’t use “he” or “she”

"It might sound simple, but the first thing that has to be done in any successful, gender-neutral advert is to remove gendered articles. It’s tacit as well as overt."
