UBS staff hope new HQ is mouse-free

UBS is relocating to new London headquarters, and staff won’t be missing their old cohabitants.

Mice have inundated the floors of the UBS’ Liverpool Street office since 2002, with staff seeing mice run across meeting rooms, hide in drawers and scamper across desks.  

In October 2014, Financial News (FN) reported that one UBS employee said: “One mouse went into a Managing Director’s drawer and ate his nuts, while another ran over [another MD’s] foot and she screamed while on a call.”

One investment banking executive who worked into the night informed FN that he saw mice bustling around after hours too.
