New software predicts when staff will go bad...

A company has launched new software which can predict when an employee is about to commit insider trading or intellectual property theft before they actually do.

In response to the increase in cybercrime, RedOwl Analytics has created a programme which monitors suspicious activity on staff’s computer accounts. Whilst it doesn’t read the workers’ messages, the software looks for warning shifts in behaviour.

Brian White, Chief Operating Officer of the RedOwl Analytics, discussed the new software in an interview with Quartz.
