The Secret HR Director: Now stop whining & let me beat you with a stick!

A few weeks ago I had one of those awful experiences when you think that it’s Thursday and it’s actually late Monday morning. I really wasn’t looking forward to what the week had to offer.

But then something happened when I glanced at my phone. An email alert from HR Grapevine. 

Suddenly, wham!  

What’s that? A Chinese bank has been criticised for actually beating its poor performing workers with a stick and shaving their heads? And they’ve done this all in the name of “training”?
