The job interview often follows a formula as old as the concept of work itself and centres on one concept: prove your skills.

But some innovative companies are set to change tradition by morphing the typically terrifying job interview into a mutually rewarding experience for candidate and company alike.

Glassdoor has released a ranking of companies with the highest interview scores, based on the reflections of jobseekers who interviewed at these companies and said they were able to connect with welcoming and down to earth employees who spoke candidly of their experiences there.

In fact, transparency and friendliness during the interview process were the two outstanding themes among this year’s winners, Glassdoor’s Employer Communications Manager, Lisa Holden, told Forbes.
