All office-based employees will be drawn into a meeting at some point or other during their careers, and not all of them will be exciting.
A recent article in The Telegraph detailed how to deal with workplace boredom, and how to make the most of seemingly pointless meetings.
David Bolchover, author of The Living Dead, a book on workplace ennui, comments: “The trouble with meetings is that you have to look alert.
“If you’re daydreaming or doodling, someone is going to notice that you’re drifting off. Looking bored is bad – you need to at least feign interest and nod at the important moments, especially if someone senior to you is speaking.
