Amazon rolls out chopsticks in canteens after employee request

Amazon staff can bring their dogs to work, can enjoy ping pong whilst at the office – but they don’t get free food.

However, employees do get a boss that listens to them.

At a live Q&A “all-hands” meeting, which are run twice a year between CEO Jeff Bezos, his executive team and employees, an anonymous employee posed a question about Amazon’s kitchen utensils.

“While we appreciate the Western utensils in the kitchen, are there plans to provide chopsticks? I think there is a sizable minority that would appreciate the chopsticks.”
