Sir Philip Green to ex-BHS worker: 'I own you'

A former member of staff at BHS has claimed that Sir Philip Green told her that he owned her.

The incident happened in 2000 – shortly after Green acquired the business - on the shop floor at a branch in Hempstead Valley Shopping Centre, Gillingham.

Chris Page, the employee in question, said of the confrontation: “I was working in the Christmas shop.

“I was getting to work at 7am and putting things out for people to try.
