The mini heatwave hitting Britain this week has given us a chance to dip into the narrow section of our wardrobes containing our summer collections.

Although most of us are celebrating about not having to wear a cardigan and baring our limbs to catch some vitamin D, one truck driver’s decision to wear shorts didn’t bode well.

    If this is a Health & Safety matter there should be a written risk assessment on file that Mr Woods should have been shown. Our drivers are allowed to wear shorts in hot weather.

    Yet another example of managers who think their god! I doubt very much if this chap would find any H&S legislation that states that you cannot safely drive an HGV with shorts on. This manager should be ashamed!
