Staff push 36 tonne jet after runway breakdown

Astonishing footage has emerged of employees going above and beyond their duties, by pushing a 36 tonne plane across the tarmac, fully loaded with passengers.

Staff at Iberian Airlines pulled the plane manually, after the tug truck that pushes it to the runway broke down leaving the people on board stranded for over an hour.

According to The Mirror, the 90-seater Iberian Airlines jet was bound for the port of Vigo in Spain. However, staff were forced to lend a helping hand when the system broke down.
