Mental health is often a subject that is hard to discuss, but regardless of this difficulty it’s still a pressing issue.
One in four people in the UK will experience a mental health problem in any given year, according to a 2015 report by The Mental Health Foundation.
The report also found that in England alone, 16 million sick days per year were attributed to mental ill health.
In addition, NHS England recently published its implementation strategy with their ‘Five Year Forward View (FYFV)’ for mental health, outlining how services will help a million more people a year by 2020/21.
