High tech perks more important than free food to Millennials

The generation that labels pizza as “bae” would turn down free food for better technology at work.

A global survey commissioned by Dell and Intel found that over 60% of Millennials would rather receive high-tech perks at work over benefits such as free food and ping pong.

The Future Workforce Study found that 42% of Millennial employees say they are willing to quit their job if office technologies are not up to their standards, and over half of employees expect to work in a smart office in the next five years.

Out of the 4,000 employees surveyed in ten countries, 44% believe their current workplace is not technology smart enough.
