You won't believe what this bar wants from candidates...

Negotiating the terms of employment between a candidate and an employer can be difficult, but spare a thought for whoever is in charge of hiring at this Dublin bar.

Advertised only as a bar in Dublin 14, the job ad asks for experienced bar staff who are “friendly and customer-focused”, fluent in English and have three years’ worth of experience in the industry – Joe.ie reports.

All seems normal enough, until you get to one of the last clauses – which informs potential candidates they will need to meet high customer standards, followed by the line “free hand shandies is what he means here.”

It’s unknown if the line was mistakenly included or meant as a joke, but the job ad has since been removed.
