Millennials are often dubbed as 'a coddled generation'; living off the bank of mum and dad, unwilling to get off their phones and work hard.
However, whatever your opinions are on the incoming workforce, Millennials reflect the changing nature of society, and organisations need to adapt to in order to attract and retain the best talent.
A survey conducted by Korn Ferry Futurestep, named the ‘Futurestep Millennial Survey’, highlights Millennials priorities in the workplace. These include making an impact on the business and understanding how they contribute to the wider organisation.
The survey asked what matters most to Millennials. 28% reported the ability to make an impact on the business as most important, whereas only three per cent valued income as the most important.
