HR spends 21 hours a month doing this…

The main concern of small business owners at present are late payments.

60% report that their invoices are not paid on time, and 52% report being constantly ‘worried’ about cash flow issues caused by unpaid invoices, according to a survey by Xero.

HR, a sector busy with the task of looking after employees, adhering company policies with changing labour laws and finishing important administration tasks are spending the most time pursuing late payments a month, at 21 hours.

Following HR were industry sectors IT & telecoms (12.7 hours), sales, media and marketing (10.7 hours), architecture, engineering and building and finance (9.8 hours).
