Conversations between employees at global tech giant Microsoft have been leaked, with several workers expressing their concerns over management.
According to The Inquirer, staff at Microsoft were talking on private messaging app Blind rather than using the company chat app Yammer. In a chat between over 100 staff it emerged that workers were seemingly delighted with the recent departure of COO Kevin Turner.
One employee described it as the “best 4 July gift ever.” This follows on from a poll of 95 Microsoft workers which found that 93 of them felt “crazy happy” at Turner’s departure, whilst just two felt “crying sad.”
Other employees seemed to hope that Turners departure would somehow spur on Terry Myerson’s, Microsoft's Executive Vice President of the Windows and Devices Group.
