Marks & Spencer (M&S) has defended changes to their pay structure that could mean employees lose out on thousands of pounds annually.
The amendments were announced in May, with a decision to be made 60 days later after discussions with staff.
Premiums for working on a Sunday will be stopped, bank holiday payments will be decreased and additional pay for working hours deemed anti-social will apply to those starting pre-6am rather 7am as it currently stands – iNews reports.
Pension schemes will also be cut, which could affect up to 11,000 staff.
