Employees willing to sacrifice reward package in return for an 'ideal office'

Working environments are important to today’s modern and diverse workforce, so much so that they would sacrifice their reward package for it.

According to research by British Land, many would consider a reduction in their reward package of, on average, 5.5% to work in an ‘ideal’ office.

86% say they would stay longer with an employer that had the ideal office location and features, and 84% said that, when deciding between similar jobs, the workplace itself would influence their choices.

If working at an ‘ideal’ office, 36% believed they would be more productive at work and 87% agreed that the office location and features were important to help maintain a balanced life.
