If you won the lottery, would you turn up for work the next day?
A syndicate of 22 at Dublin Bus won €23.8million (£20.3million) on the EuroMillions on Saturday; with five turning up for work the following Monday – The Irish Times reports.
The rest were given the day off. They stand to earn €1.1million (£922,000) each.
Dublin Bus’ Chief Inspector, Larry O’Brien, said: “They are senior men. I’d imagine many of them felt obliged to turn up to work.
