Facebook's 'male' HR allegedly told women to cover up

A former member of staff at Facebook has claimed that female employees were told not to wear revealing clothing at work as it would “distract” their male colleagues – Breitbart News Network reports.

Former employee Antonio García Martínez – who was fired from Facebook two years ago – makes the claim in a memoir about his time working their titled ‘Chaos Monkeys: Obscene Fortune and Random Failure in Silicon Valley’.

“Our male HR authority, with occasional backup from his female counterpart, launched into a speech about avoiding clothing that ‘distracted’ co-workers. I’d later learn that managers did in fact occasionally pull aside female employees and read them the riot act,” he says.

He also says that Co-Founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg frequently sent angry emails to staff. After plans were leaked he sent emails asking them to resign.
