“The more hours the better” say recruitment agencies and sole traders of Nottingham.
Employees in recruitment and sole trading industries believe that a proactive attitude to work and undertaking longer hours enables them to earn more money.
This comes with findings that almost 1 in 10 employees in the UK want to work more hours at their current rate of pay, according to a survey by Reed in Partnership.
The report, called “The case for an in-work progression service” found that the gap between underemployment and unemployment was at its largest since 2000.
