Candidate allegedly robs fast food restaurant during job interview

A man has allegedly robbed a fast food chain halfway through interviewing for a position with them.

Police in Lexington, Kentucky, USA have reported that a man entered a Chuck E Cheese restaurant earlier this week and asked for a job application. After filling it out he was offered an interview – the Lexington Herald Leader reports.

The man returned to the store for his interview later that day.

During the interview he allegedly announced he was instead going to rob the store, and implied to the staff he had a firearm.

The manager of the store told the man he did not have access to the safe and the man then fled.

Police are currently seeking the robber.
