A BBC newsreader has landed herself in hot water after being caught out texting on the job in front of millions of viewers.

Joanna Gosling was caught out earlier this week after she missed her cue during a live broadcast and was beamed to the nation tapping away at her phone – The Mirror reports.

As the bulletin music plays she continues to look down, before realising she’s been caught out; quickly putting her phone to the side.
