Brexit: 'Palpable fear & uncertainty prevailing' for hospitality staff

The hospitality industry is taking on the impact of the Brexit, and employees are not feeling too happy about it.

Jeremy King OBE, of restaurant group Corbin & King, has said there is “fear” amongst his staff – the Evening Standard reports.

“I felt humiliated and embarrassed as I tried to explain to [staff] what a mess some 17million fellow Brits have propelled us into,” he said.

“Despite the fact that I have written twice to all group staff to reassure them that they are secure, there is understandably a palpable fear and uncertainty prevailing.”
