Research by Bloomberg has found that your employment could predict who you marry, with an analysis of 3.5million American households showing how people pair up by profession – Business Insider reports.

The study finds that people don’t necessarily find a partner who works in a similar industry, but in some professions – such as medicine - it is likely that employees will find someone in a similar job.
