A collection of different employers have come together in an effort to raise money for charity and dance to Justin Timberlake.
The group of businesses based in St Albans, Hertfordshire, have created a hilarious parody of the singer’s number one hit ‘Can’t Stop The Feeling’.
Timberlake’s official video starts with him having breakfast in a diner and then cuts to numerous people dancing happily in a range of different locations – from laundrettes to supermarkets.
The St Albans Businesses’ version stars Counsellor Salih Gaygusuz as the American singer-songwriter and includes over 25 local employers dancing in their workplaces – the result is hilarious.
According to opening disclaimer, “no business people were hurt in the making of this video”, but they may have been embarrassed. But all of the awkward dancing is in aid of the Home-Start Herts charity, which helps families with young children deal with whatever life throws at them.
“Every week we receive referrals where families are feeling overwhelmed and struggling to manage day to day life. Having a volunteer visit them every week to provide both practical and emotional support, for a couple of hours, enables parents to work through the challenges, and build resilience”, says the charity’s Golden Giving page.
The video has received over 7,000 views so far, and over £1,000 in donations. Furthermore, due to the success of the video the campaign has been extended to enable people to continue donating. If you’d like to donate click here.
