The skill your staff want to learn

We live in a technologically advancing age, where the latest digital trends can change minute to minute.

So, it’s little surprise then that many UK workers see honing their IT as a means of progressing in their career. A recent report by Monster found that 54% of British employees believed they could land a better job if they were better with technology. However, just 15% of staff admitted to embarking on an IT course whilst at school or university.

84% expressed an interest in receiving training in coding, computer language and digital skills. 24% claimed they now see learning basic code as important.

The report also found that women would have to work harder to crack into the world of technology, with one in five employees confessing that women were probably at a disadvantage.
