Reciting CV highlights, practicing handshakes and donning the finest office wear - job interviews can be daunting for many candidates.
Capturing and exposing the personal interaction between jobseeker and recruiter to the nation is Channel 4, who have created a new show, “The Interview” which will air real life interviews.
The show will film organic interactions between the candidate and employer through using carefully concealed cameras and applicants recruited through real advertisements, with employment law preventing the production company from choosing the candidates they preferred.
The five-part series will explore interviews for two separate roles in two different companies in each episode, RadioTimes.com reports. Candidates will be interviewed in an office building in Westminster in front of hidden cameras, before being debriefed by producers. The interviewers’ reactions will also be filmed.
