The Chief Executive of telecoms giant TalkTalk has donated her annual bonus to charity, according to City AM.
Dido Harding has decided to give away her £220,000 bonus to charitable causes, following the release of a report which found her total income this year to be £2.8million – up from £1million last year.
TalkTalk also announced that, in light of the recent cyber-attack, the remuneration committee has decided to cut executive and director level bonuses to 40%, rather than the 62.4% suggested – according to City AM.
The publication also reported that TalkTalk would be awarding certain staff a little extra, particularly those who had “gone above and beyond during the cyber-attack and given up their personal time” to help the telecoms company pull through.
