As the summer finally rolls in, we’re reminded of long lazy days, garden parties and trips to the beach – as such the holiday season can wreak havoc on staff productivity levels.
The summer months can be a tricky time to keep HR teams motivated, according to Carole Gaskell, Managing Director of Full Potential Group. As such, she has detailed her top ten tips to help keep HR departments fuelled and productive this summer.
Review strengths and passions
“Take a fresh look at your team’s real strengths and passions,” explains Gaskell. “Challenge them to re-visit their own and the team’s purpose - how can they best contribute? Remembering the ‘why’ you’re doing something and the difference you want to make can be incredibly motivating.”
