Mixing business with pleasure - the rise of the 'Bleisure Traveller'

More and more British employees are choosing to mix business with pleasure, giving rise to a whole new character in the world of business travel.

The ‘bleisure traveller’ is a UK staff member who opts to blur the lines between business and pleasure, spending on average five days a month travelling with work.

The findings come from a recent report by Autoeurope.co.uk, which surveyed over 1,049 UK employees.

The study found that more than a quarter (26%) of employees will change their working hours when travelling for business trips to take full advantage of what the destination has to offer.
