Adecco appoints graduate CEO for a month

A graduate from Plymouth University has been announced as CEO of Adecco - for one month.

Abigale Legge will work with John Marshall, the real CEO, at Adecco Group UK & Ireland, for a month of on-the-job mentoring as part of a paid internship.

The 24-year-old former dental nurse is currently in her first year at Plymouth University, studying Business Management and Finance. 

Her appointment comes as part of Adecco Group’s wider global campaign through its Way to Work programme, which aims to tackle youth unemployment. According to recent figures from the Office for National Statistics, 13.7% of 16-24-year-olds are unemployed.
