Summer 2016 is kicking off with sporting events such as Euro 2016, the Rio Olympics and Wimbledon all set to pique the nation’s attention.
82% of employees believe that these sporting events represent an opportunity to bond with staff, regardless of their interest in sports, according to research by CV-Library.
The survey, which asked over 2,000 employees, obtained the views of staff; with 62% believing businesses should show support for sporting events as 61% plan to watch the upcoming European Championships.
However, only one in 11 work for companies that embrace such events.
