HR on the rise with 'intense' pay jump

HR is quickly catching up to other industries when it comes to remuneration, only outstripped by marketing and corporate banking when it comes to salary increases.

A study from salary benchmarking website Emolument has found that the average salary of HR Managers increased 31% from 2015 to 2016.

HR Managers on average earn £80,000, up from £61,000, The Independent reports.

This is thanks to “intense innovation” due to a high demand in new skills.
