One in six Brits admit to napping at work

An afternoon snooze is something we could all do with now and then, especially with napping proven to boost productivity and performance.

15% of Brits admit to taking a nap at work, according to a poll conducted by interior design company Hillarys.

Inspired by the Spanish lifestyle, 21% of the employees surveyed supported the idea of introducing a British siesta – despite the absence of midday heatwaves.

Only nine per cent of Britons said that they ‘never’ took naps yet 21% admitted to napping ‘daily,’ with 28% reporting they feel ‘tired and grouchy’ around midday.
