Disney staff reveal truth about working at 'the happiest place on earth'

Apparently, the happiest place on earth isn’t quite what it seems, with employees at the world-famous Disneyland revealing the darker side of working at the seemingly magical theme park.

Using anonymous confessions app Whisper, staff took to a thread to reveal what goes on behind the scenes at the theme parks - including stories about banned romantic relations and drinking before interacting with the often abusive guests, the Daily Mail reports.

“Every day before my shift I drink liquor to help make me more cheerful for the children”, one worker revealed.

Another spoke of the abuse often received, stating: “I work at Disney World and being around children and their parents all day every day has taught me how not to raise my children.”
