Is an exercise-filled commute the future of staff wellbeing?

Staff attempting to balance workouts with working will soon be able to commute and burn calories, with a London bus that offering a spinning class whilst you ride.

Boutique gym 1Rebel is offering a mobile spinning service called ‘RIDE2REBEL’ which will travel the popular commuter routes across London.

The bus ride will feature a 45 minute HIIT workout with optional upper body weights. Music will also play a part, with live performers helping to motivate commuters and tinted windows giving the bus a nightclub vibe.

Co-Founder James Balfour comments: “It is an absolute no brainer for us that we can create more efficiency in people’s routines by transforming their commute. For those who want the components of a class, but perhaps don’t have the time to commit during the day, this provides a great solution for them to maximise time they would otherwise be spending just travelling to work.
