Close to half of UK employees don’t believe their employer is offering them enough learning and development opportunities, according to new research.
The study, from Love Energy Savings, surveyed more than 1,400 people and found that 49% were disappointed with the level of training and growth on offer.
Their Managing Director, Phil Foster, explained to HR Grapevine why it’s so important for businesses to nurture their employees and create an environment that allows for constant development.
“Team development is vital if you are going to keep moving forward as a business,” he said.
