Hyundai developing Iron Man-esque exoskeleton to “increase productivity”

Hyundai is taking inspiration from comics and cinema in an attempt to increase the productivity of factory workers.  

The South Korean car firm is developing an exoskeleton that has the look of the Caterpillar P-5000 Work Loader from the James Cameron sci-fi film Aliens, but with the strength abilities of Tony Stark’s Iron Man suit.

Little is known about the exact technical specifications, but physically it consists of a backpack with leg and arm attachments with claw-like appendages to assist with heavy lifting.

The automotive company wrote in a blog post (translated via International Business Times): "Hyundai Motor Group is developing a wearable robot suit for commercialisation with the aim of it being used for multiple purposes.
