Boss builds dream home for dying employee

The Director of a construction company has transformed the home of one of his employees, after finding out the man had been diagnosed with terminal cancer.

When Addam Smith, of ALS Fencing and Landscaping, found out that worker Keith Ellick had been given just months to live, he trawled the country looking for volunteer plumbers, electricians, engineers and builders to help transform his family home in to a dream house.

Whilst Ellick and his family were away on holiday, Smith and his 50 strong team set about renovating their house, installing new flooring, a new kitchen and bathroom, redecorating the lounge and landscaping the garden.  

When Ellick returned, he was understandably moved by the work the team had done, and by the thousands of pounds they had raised for his family via a Go Fund Me page.
