Jamie Vardy lookalike given time off by employer to capitalise on fame

You may have heard that Leicester City won the Barclays Premier League last weekend with a little help from their star striker Jamie Vardy.

Postman Lee Chapman, who looks like Vardy, has been flooded with employment offers since he managed to sneak onto the Leicester City bus and get a picture with his spitting image. He then stayed on the bus for their victory parade and went for lunch with the team.    

Now his employer, Royal Mail, has offered him to the opportunity to capitalise on his new-found fame.

“It’s mental. I’m part of it,” he told the Mirror. “I’m a hardcore Foxes fan and now I’ve got fans of my own.
