Big Data could be about to solve one of HR’s most perplexing quandaries - ensuring a new hire is a correct cultural fit for the organisation.

Candidate.Guru is a creation from former executive recruiter Chris Daniels, who claims that finding candidates with the right skill sets, education and experience isn’t enough – cultural fit is key.

The program is a Big Data analytics solution that can predict a cultural fit between corporate hiring managers and prospective jobseekers without the need for surveys and assessment tools, The Miami Herald reports.

It uses predictive analytics and machine learning technology to assess hundreds of thousands of employer-employee combinations and determine which attributes are indicative of a successful working relationship.
