The perks your employees really want revealed

Free food, birthday leave and all-expenses paid trips - your employees’ true desires have finally been revealed in a recent survey conducted by Conference Genie.

The report interviewed 2,000 UK employees in order to uncover what really makes them smile in the workplace. The campaign, entitled The Small Things, found that 45% of staff would like a paid day off on their birthday, whilst just 16% would opt for remote working.

The top three financial perks people want are; regular bonuses (45%), health insurance (26%), and paid for holiday trips (24%).

Over a third (36%) said that their work perks contribute significantly to how happy they are in their workplace. 59% of employees asked with a happiness rating of five, said that their work perks do contribute a significant amount to their overall staff satisfaction.
