Professor's CV of failures goes viral

A CV is usually a means to promote your achievements, but one Princeton University Professor has gone against the grain and released a CV of failures.

Princeton's Assistant Professor of Psychology and Public Affairs, Johannes Haushofer, has shared his personal setbacks via Twitter, in a bid to highlight the reality of careers, CNBC reports.

The CV includes sections titled "Degree programs I did not get into", "Research funding I did not get" and "Paper rejections from academic journals".

“Most of what I try fails, but these failures are often invisible, while the successes are visible. I have noticed that this sometimes gives others the impression that most things work out for me," he said.
